Thanks to the awesomeness that is my dad, I was stuck at home with no internet for a few days. Ergo, photoshop was my outlet and it took a punishing. Haha.

No matter what anyone says, or anyone has to say, Alex O’Loughlin is a strong man and he will come through this and out the other side fighting like the ninja we all know he is. It takes a strong person to admit they have a problem, and an even stronger one to seek help for it.

So, from the bottom of my heart and I’m sure many others, I want to wish Alex luck and say that he’ll be in my prayers. No matter if it costs us an episode of H-50, his health is more important and anyone who wishes to say otherwise needs to re-evaluate their own status as a human being.

When did we go from wishing others health and happiness to disapproving of them for seeking such things.

‘There’s a fire starting in my heart…’

It took me a long long while to decide whether Steve here would be best suited to the water element, or the fire one. I took into account his love of the ocean and being a Navy SEAL and all, but I just couldn’t beat out the idea of fire. Fire has to be so carefully controlled or it could be such a dangerous weapon, much like Steve himself. His iron will keeps him in check, but when he blows his top, he does so big time. Plus the guy likes explosions. Haha. Enough said.

Day #29 - Reason You Watch The Show: The Gorgeous Cast

Why? It may be shallow but that really was the very first reason why I watched Hawaii Five 0, so I like to think of it as the reason. Sure, plenty of reasons have come along since then, but that one will always be the starting point. Being an Aussie myself, knowing Alex O’Loughlin was going to be in it, how could I not watch and support a home grown boy? Grace Park was gorgeous in Battlestar, so I couldn’t wait to see her in Hawaii! Daniel Dae Kim was a Lost fella and, though I wasn’t fussed on the show, I quite liked him in it. And last but not least, Scott Caan. I’m a huge fan of his father, James’ work, and Scott takes a lot after his father I think so how could I not love him too? All together they make up one kickass team and thus my obsession with Hawaii Five 0 was born!

Day #27 - Favorite Moment of Death… Or Not: The almost execution in “Ho’apono” (Accept)

Why? Obviously on some level you just know they can’t kill of one of their main characters like that, but do you think my brain cared?! Nope. Not one bit. All I saw was Steve in the sort of pose people make others get in when they’re going to execute them. Going out in hail of bullets or explosions is how Lt. Commander Steven J. McGarrett should go if he has to. Not executed. Never, ever, ever. I really thought though for a moment that the guy was going to shoot him and the SWAT team wouldn’t get there in time, but then along they came, and the old guy who was awesome, and saved the day! I liked how Steve still saved him from being killed despite everything that had happened.

Day #25 - Favorite Premiere: Season 1 Sunset on the Beach Premiere

Why? I don’t know why I love this premiere the best. I just think that it was gorgeous with the dark backdrop and everyone looked so amazing. Plus the hype for the show just makes it seem like an electric atmosphere that I’m sure would have been incredible to be a part of. Grace and Taryn looked stunning, and I love that joint picture of them all on stage together.

Day #24 - Episode Promo Video That Made You Want to Watch: Promo for “Mai Ka Wa Kahiko” (Out of the Past) ~ Here ~

Why? The moment, the moment, that guy threatened Gracie, I knew I’d be glued to my television and dying to see it all week. Danno and Monkey are never, ever, ever allowed to be hurt in any way as far as I’m concerned so this was definitely a must see ep for me once I saw that vid. It didn’t disappoint either, though I kinda hope that the 5-0 team got some time alone with Rick at the end there. He’d have gone to lock up with a considerable amount of bruises and possibly broken bones if it were me.

I definitely would not say no to seeing this AU personally. Haha. Steve and Danno as a pair of surfing, snorkeling beach dudes would be epic. And I could totally see Danny having some awesome surfing skills and using them to constantly show up McGarrett. Guy’s got to take his victories where he can get them!

2.15 tugged at my heartstrings so much! And that final scene where Steve, Kono and Chin just look at each other… I hope Danny knows just how lucky he is to have such an amazing Ohana at his back. Personally I hope they got a little one on one time with Rick. Lord knows I wanted some.
