Well this is it ladies and gentlemen. Day 30. It’s been a long haul, and I’ve honestly never done anything like this before in my life so I was sure I’d flake out at some point, but we’ve done it! We’ve reached the end of the trek and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s looked at these pics and I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at them as much as I have making them! Day #30 - Scene You’ll Never Forget: The Ohana Football Scene from “Malama Ka Aina” (Respect the Land)

Why? Not only was this one of the most awesome Ohana moments of the series so far, but it was also the first time the team was fully introduced to Grace. That was a huge step forward for everyone because it meant Danny trusted his team enough to introduce them to his daughter, and Grace officially became part of the Ohana of 5-0. Later, we know the extents they would go to in order to protect her, but this was the moment that all began. I’ll never forget it because of that and the simple warmth and feeling of family that radiated all throughout this scene makes it probably the one scene I will never, ever forget. 5-0 Ohana forever!

Day #29 - Reason You Watch The Show: The Gorgeous Cast

Why? It may be shallow but that really was the very first reason why I watched Hawaii Five 0, so I like to think of it as the reason. Sure, plenty of reasons have come along since then, but that one will always be the starting point. Being an Aussie myself, knowing Alex O’Loughlin was going to be in it, how could I not watch and support a home grown boy? Grace Park was gorgeous in Battlestar, so I couldn’t wait to see her in Hawaii! Daniel Dae Kim was a Lost fella and, though I wasn’t fussed on the show, I quite liked him in it. And last but not least, Scott Caan. I’m a huge fan of his father, James’ work, and Scott takes a lot after his father I think so how could I not love him too? All together they make up one kickass team and thus my obsession with Hawaii Five 0 was born!

Day #28 - Didn’t See it Coming Moment: Governor Jameson’s request for a beer in “Ke Kinohi” (The Beginning)

Why? Not very explosive, or mind melting or anything, but I definitely did not see the Governor asking Steve for a been coming. Haha. Firstly, she’s the Governor of Hawaii. She’s supposed to be into the fancy stuff, and second, she was there defending someone who was apparently a friend of hers from attack. But, nevertheless, it was this moment that really made me love Governor Pat Jameson. She was a woman after my own heart and I really loved her character. She was pure and plain awesomesauce. The perfect kind of Boss that the 5-0 team needed to kick ass. Shame how it all ended up, but she will always be my favourite Governor because of this moment! And Steve’s face made it all the better!! Even he was like ‘…uh.. what?’.

Day #27 - Favorite Moment of Death… Or Not: The almost execution in “Ho’apono” (Accept)

Why? Obviously on some level you just know they can’t kill of one of their main characters like that, but do you think my brain cared?! Nope. Not one bit. All I saw was Steve in the sort of pose people make others get in when they’re going to execute them. Going out in hail of bullets or explosions is how Lt. Commander Steven J. McGarrett should go if he has to. Not executed. Never, ever, ever. I really thought though for a moment that the guy was going to shoot him and the SWAT team wouldn’t get there in time, but then along they came, and the old guy who was awesome, and saved the day! I liked how Steve still saved him from being killed despite everything that had happened.

Day #26 - Favorite Themed Episode: “Hana ‘a’a Makehewa” (Desperate Measures)

Why? The Christmas themed ep ‘Hana ‘a’a Makehewa’ has to be the ultimate of themed episodes in any show. Not only did it have tons of drama and suspense (poor Chin and that bomb!) but it was undeniably gorgeous at the end there where everyone pitched in to make Christmas for Grace. I loved the fact all the guys were the ones sewing/stapling the Santa suit while Kono was on lookout. And we all knew Steve had to have been a boy scout. Haha. This was definitely one of those amazing Ohana moments, and, I don’t know if anyone else caught it, but the stockings hanging off the counter all have one of their names on them and that was just a tiny little detail that made it all the more special!

Day #25 - Favorite Premiere: Season 1 Sunset on the Beach Premiere

Why? I don’t know why I love this premiere the best. I just think that it was gorgeous with the dark backdrop and everyone looked so amazing. Plus the hype for the show just makes it seem like an electric atmosphere that I’m sure would have been incredible to be a part of. Grace and Taryn looked stunning, and I love that joint picture of them all on stage together.

Day #24 - Episode Promo Video That Made You Want to Watch: Promo for “Mai Ka Wa Kahiko” (Out of the Past) ~ Here ~

Why? The moment, the moment, that guy threatened Gracie, I knew I’d be glued to my television and dying to see it all week. Danno and Monkey are never, ever, ever allowed to be hurt in any way as far as I’m concerned so this was definitely a must see ep for me once I saw that vid. It didn’t disappoint either, though I kinda hope that the 5-0 team got some time alone with Rick at the end there. He’d have gone to lock up with a considerable amount of bruises and possibly broken bones if it were me.

Day #23 - Episode Promo Pic That Made You Want to Watch: Pic from “Po’ipu” (The Siege)

Why? As soon as I saw the Molotov cocktails I thought ‘Hang on. What the hell is going on there?!’ and I immediately wanted to see the ep. Firstly to find out why McGarrett and Kono were making Molotov cocktails and then, upon closer inspection, why they were doing so in Steve’s house of all place. The episode definitely did not disappoint. I loved that ep and the fire fight (pun intended) at the McGarrett home was awesome! Go team!

Last, but certainly not least of the group, is Lori! I personally thought she was gorgeous in this dress and her make up and hair was done just right! She definitely would catch my eye at any function!
